| lack of funds at the moment for a track set. I was running Falken GRB FK-451, and while they were very predictable at the limits, I was having to fight the slide all around the track. I'm at the point where I'm faster than what the street tires can deliver. In the past, I have had Kumho Victoracers, and loved them. I am considering trying a set of Toyo RA-1's for my next set, but until I figure out how to pay for them (and the wheels they will bemounted on), it's all academic. Like Damon said, if you're somewhat new to tracking, track tires will somewhat limit your development. There's a cliche that running on street tires "makes you a better driver". Simply learning car control on less than optimal grip reall does teach you better than using the sticky tires to cover your mistakes.
